ZHANG Li is the Dean / Professor of Architecture in the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University.
He is currently the Vice-President [Region IV] of UIA, a Changjiang Scholar appointed by the Ministry
of Education, National Master of Engineering Design and Geotechnique Investigation. ZHANG Li has led
significant projects including the Planning of Zhangjiakou Zone, Beijing 2022 OWG; National Ski Jumping
Center 'Snow Ruyi'; Big Air Shougang; PR China Pavilion of Achitecttura di Venezia 2021. ZHANG Li is the
founder and a main advocator of Urban Ergonomics, an interdisciplinary domain focusing on creating
liveable spaces and its design intervention technologies. In 2023, he became the laureate of the 11th
Liang Sicheng Archirecture Award, the most presdigious Chinese award in the field of architecture. He
also won over forty national and international awards in the past two decades..
